Knife Crime

I know you have all read about the recent increase in knife crime and how young teenagers carry these knives for "protection", but what are your thoughts on this subject? Do you think that the parents are to blame? Are the sentances harsh enough for those who offend? What do you really think drives these teenagers to use knives in the way they do? Do the police really do enough to prevent attacks?
Let me know what your thoughts are! Please be frank and honest!

  1. There is no respect, discipline or punishment being implemented in many homes today, and no fear of any authority by the today's children, they seem to be a law unto themselves. If they carrry knives, they are often mislead into thinking the weapons will protect them, when sadly, the very weapon they carry, may be used against them themselves.
Any power has been removed, because of ridiculous new laws, the police have a hard task dealing with today's youth, they are restricted in what they actually can do.
Parents have given in to their children too much, and have no authority over them now.
The world is becoming so full of FEAR, it makes us shudder at how much worse can it get!
Well done with your blog Dean, look forward to seeing how it takes off!
